The first meeting of the Speak Your Mind! project took place under the theme “Economics in Practice.” The main goal was to introduce participants to the fundamental principles of the economy and demonstrate how to apply this knowledge in real life.
The meeting began with workshops led by representatives from the University of Warsaw and the Warsaw School of Economics. Thanks to these sessions, participants learned the basics of economics, market mechanisms, and how the state supports entrepreneurship development.
A key highlight of the program was a business simulation, where participants faced the realities of running their own company – from creating a business plan to making strategic decisions. This experience not only enhanced their practical skills but also proved that entrepreneurship is within reach for every young person.
On the second day, the participants attended workshops conducted by entrepreneurs and startup founders. Engaging directly with professionals allowed them to gain valuable insights into the business world, find inspiration, and receive guidance on starting their own ventures. At the end of the day, they presented their fictional companies during a “business fair,” taking their first steps toward applying their newly acquired knowledge in practice.
The project is co-financed by the European Union.
