We are delighted to summarize the successful conclusion of the RE-CHARGE project, which took place from July 30 to August 7, 2024. The project aimed to support young people in learning stress management techniques, discovering new passions, and developing essential skills to maintain a healthy balance between work and personal life. It provided young participants from six countries (Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Spain) with a unique opportunity for growth and personal development.

Throughout a series of engaging workshops, participants gained knowledge about self-soothing techniques, including finger painting, aromatherapy, and meditation. These activities helped them effectively cope with stress and explore ways to relax through art and hobbies. Additionally, the project focused on teaching time management, working under pressure, and assertiveness—key skills in today’s fast-changing job market.

One of the most inspiring aspects of the project was the creation and execution of an urban game in Tykocin, which introduced the local community to the topic of work-life balance. The game was well received and encouraged residents to engage in discussions about a healthy approach to professional and personal life. Through this initiative, participants gained valuable experience in teamwork, event design, and cross-cultural communication, significantly enhancing their interpersonal skills.

The RE-CHARGE project also contributed to improving participants’ English language proficiency, as they communicated daily with peers from different countries while enhancing their linguistic skills. For many, this was also an opportunity to build self-confidence, better understand their strengths and weaknesses, and discover new career possibilities.

The end of the project marks the beginning of a new journey—RE-CHARGE participants now carry with them valuable skills and experiences that will serve them in the future. We believe that together, we have laid the foundation for a healthier and more fulfilling approach to life and career. We are proud of the outcomes of this project and grateful to everyone who was a part of it! 🌟

The project is co-financed by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program.
